My love affair with Cleburne County began in 1968 when my husband John and I spent our honeymoon on Eden Isle at the Red Apple Inn. In 1982 we moved our family to Heber Springs. I began selling real estate in 1988. On July 2, 1991 Cheryl Baily Realty, Inc. was opened, where I was the Principal Broker and my son Tony was the Executive Broker. Early November 2008, I merged my company with RE/MAX Advantage, REALTORS Heber Springs where I am now an Executive Broker. After watching the stock market and banking failures earlier that year, I realized that in the future independent real estate companies were going to be at a disadvantage. I choose to become a RE/MAX Broker because RE/MAX allows me to provide the highest level of service possible to my Buyers and Sellers.
Even though I have a Bachelor of Music from Memphis State University, I find my truest expression in real estate. Cleburne County and its people offer a quality of life that is unique and impossible to find anywhere else. I grew up on a dairy farm in Horn Lake, Mississippi and then lived in Chicago, Illinois, Sioux City, Iowa, Spartanburg, South Carolina, Kennesaw, Georgia, and Bartlett, Tennessee, so I am certain there is no place as wonderful.
I sing in the choir and am the pianist for my church. Married to an avid fisherman, I love to fish as well. Teaming with my husband, I was the first woman to team fish the Arkansas Redman Fishing Circuit where we placed second in the state. I am proud of the Bass Pro Reproductions of two ten pound bass that hang in my office but I still hope to catch a fifteen pound bass like my husband.
Making my buyers and sellers happy is my goal because purchasing and selling real estate should always be pleasurable. I always strive to exceed expectations and give more than 100%.
